Apex Group unveils new Ambassador Strategy with hire of industry heavyweight
Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex” or “The Group”), a global financial services provider, announces today the appointment of industry veteran Henk Pieter van Asselt to the role of ‘Apex Ambassador’. Apex’s new Ambassador Strategy will draw on the experience of senior executives in the industry to support the company’s commercial development.
Reporting to Renaud Oury, Chief Revenue and Data Officer, van Asselt will draw on his wide-ranging global network built during his career in the financial services industry, to support the growth of Apex’s new and existing client relationships. He brings over two decades of international experience in the financial services industry and has proven track record of leading and implementing sustainable revenue growth strategies.
Van Asselt recently spent a decade as a member of Intertrust Group’s Management Board and Executive Committee, latterly as Chief Commercial Officer. In this position, Van Asselt played a strategic role in driving sales growth and the integration of over 12 global acquisitions and eventual Euronext IPO of the Intertrust business. Prior to this, he held senior management roles in the banking industry, including various international roles for Fortis Bank and ABN Amro. Most recently Van Asselt was External Senior Advisor to global consultancy Bain & Company on M&A transactions for the Financial Industry.
This appointment further demonstrates Apex’s continued commitment to growth in the European market and to provide clients with the broadest range of locally delivered solutions in the industry; across banking, depositary, custody, fund administration, corporate solutions and ESG services.
Henk Pieter (H P) van Asselt, newly appointed Apex Ambassador, comments: “I am excited to be taking on this role with Apex which has developed an impressive business model. In recent years I have watched the company’s impressive growth trajectory with great interest, and look forward to contributing to and being part of the Group’s unique journey and continued success.”
Renaud Oury, Chief Revenue & Data Officer at Apex Group adds: “We are pleased to welcome H P as an ‘Apex Ambassador’. With his notable connections and experience, he will play a key role in supporting our strategic goals by effectively communicating our unique value proposition in the market. I look forward working closely with H P and the valuable experience and knowledge he will offer as we drive organic business growth in 2021 and beyond.”
This news follows the recent announcement that Apex has strengthened its Executive Committee with the appointments of Rosie Guest, Chief Marketing Officer, and Vikita Patel, Chief Human Resources Officer.
