In order to align itself along this new venture it changes its name and becomes DATA4 Luxembourg. SecureIT has been capable of performing 10 years of failure free data center services to their worldwide customer.

The company began in 2003 and outgrew rapidly its first DC near to Luxembourg-town. In 2009 SecureIT became LuxConnect (a state owned infrastructure service wholesaler) first tenant for its newly built Tier-4 DC in Bettembourg by moving high-demanding clients. Since 2011, SecureIT operates a 2nd DC in Bettembourg for very high-density rack solutions.

In order to constantly stay ahead of its national and international competition and expand its capabilities internationally, Gary Kneip, CEO and stakeholder of SecureIT has entered into a strategic agreement with the Data Center Group, DATA4. Data4 operations started in 2006 in Marcoussis, in the Paris region. DATA4 France runs 7 sophisticated Tier-3+ DCs and is currently adding another Data Center park in the north of Paris, France and Milan, Italy. The DATA4 group strives to be a major player in the European Data Center and Cloud computing world, implementing and acquiring state-of-the art operations. The group is sponsored by Colony Capital, one of the largest global real estate private equity groups with $25 billion of assets under management. It was previously solely funded by Genii Capital.

Despite its name change, Data4 Luxembourg’s operations will remain the same. To consistently offer state of the art multi-tier Data Center and Colocation Services to national and international customers. As an alternative or complement to colocation services, DATA4 Luxembourg also offers a resourceful private cloud computing platform. DATA4 Luxembourg puts the utmost emphasis on ensuring that its infrastructure and services meet its client's value requirements for performance, availability, security and integrity as set forth by the most demanding international standards.

SecureIT is officially launched as Data 4 Luxembourg at the ICT Spring Europe 2013.

ICT Spring Europe 2013 took place in Luxexpo (Luxembourg) on June 19 and 20. This international event gathered more than 3500 key decision makers in IT & technology, and 120 innovative start-ups, coming from 60 different countries. It was the occasion for SecureIT both to celebrate 10 years of business and officially announce its rebranding into DATA4 Luxembourg. Gary Kneip, CEO, DATA4 Luxembourg, and Nadra Moussalem, Principal, Colony Capital held a conference during which they presented the new entity in front of a large panel of international IT decision makers.
