EVS selects BCE for the engineering of their A/V & control solutions in their new building in Liège (Belgium)
Following a call for tender, BCE has been selected by EVS to achieve the integration of their solutions in their headquarters and centre of innovation.
Based in Luxembourg, Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE) is a European leader in technical services for the media market. With experts in computer science and media engineering, BCE realizes the integration of many platforms, skillfully blending the best of both worlds.
EVS, provider of reliable and innovative solutions to facilitate the production of enhanced live video programs needed, for their new headquarters and pole innovation in Liège, a provider to plan and oversee the implementation of their A/V & control network.
Following a call for tender, BCE has been selected to carry out their A/V & control solutions engineering. BCE acted as that consultant to select suppliers in line with the specifications of EVS. After realization of the plans for their new building, BCE, as the project manager, followed the teams on-site and ensured the proper functioning of the solutions for the distribution of video and audio as well as the control of each equipment.
"The excellent communication between the BCE and EVS teams was a key factor in the success of this project," says Frédéric Fievez, Manager Special Projects at BCE.
For this major project, BCE installed more than 200 km of cables and over 6500 connectors and has contributed to the new file-based work environment of EVS.
