KBL epb named best private bank in Luxembourg for second consecutive year
Follows recent recognition as among ‘Outstanding Private Banks in Europe’ at Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards
KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb) has been named the best private bank in Luxembourg for the second consecutive year at the PWM/The Banker Global Private Banking Awards, which took place in London on October 26, 2017.
This accolade follows the recent recognition of the Luxembourg-headquartered group as among the “Outstanding Private Banks in Europe” at the Private Banker International Global Wealth Awards – the third year in a row the group has received that distinction.
“Today’s private banks must have the scale and resources to be able to stay ahead of the curve – whether by adopting new technology or adapting to new regulations – while still retaining their focus on each individual they have the opportunity to serve,” said Carlo Friob, CEO, Luxembourg, KBL epb.
“Here at KBL epb, we think we’ve got the balance right: big enough to ensure sustainability and small enough that we know every client by name,” Friob said. “Indeed, what sets us apart – as a wealth manager and employer – is our ability to forge such strong personal relationships, then make them even stronger over time.
“We are grateful that KBL epb continues to be recognized for its commitment to excellence, and proud of our people for earning such awards.”
The Global Private Banking Awards are conferred annually by Professional Wealth Management and The Banker, publications of the Financial Times Group. Organizations nominated for the awards are shortlisted based on quantitative criteria and qualitative analysis. Those entries are then evaluated by an expert panel of industry professionals from across the globe.
