For the festive season, Luxair unveils its freshly designed Gift Card concept.
The enthusiasm and excitement of getting away from it all and creating new memories or visiting loved ones can now be offered.
Ideal for the festive season, birthdays, Valentine's Day or any other occasion, the Luxair Gift Card will delight grown-ups and children alike and offer new perspectives for 2021.
In just a few clicks, customers can choose the design of the card, depending on the occasion, and personalise the message accompanying the mailing to the recipient.
A limited edition, printed in Sumo colours, is available in the two Luxair Travel Stores located in the departure hall at Luxembourg Airport and Munsbach.

Luxair partners with BioneXt to guarantee PCR testing over the holidays

Several countries such as Spain and Italy require passengers to have a negative PCR test in order to enter their territory.
Aware of the difficulties in finding available test centres, Luxair and the BioneXt Laboratory have found a solution to ensure that Luxair and LuxairTours passengers can carry out their PCR test on time.
In this way, Luxair wants to allow all its customers to be reunited with their families and loved ones in complete peace of mind and in the best conditions for the festive season.

This program is exclusively reserved for all passengers travelling on direct Luxair and LuxairTours flights to Spain, Italy, Madeira in Portugal (tests on arrival are still possible) and Copenhagen in Denmark between 18 December and 6 January 2021 included. Testing will take place exclusively at the BioneXt Laboratory site located at 12 rue Léon Laval in Leudelange, Luxembourg. The price of the test, to be paid on site, is 58.49€ per person.

Customers who have booked a Luxair flight or a LuxairTours package will be able to register on a dedicated website. To do so, they will receive a message once they have made their reservation.
BioneXt will then send a voucher via e-mail to the customer with an appointment date which will take into account the time required for the validity of the tests upon arrival in the country concerned.
Registration must be made at least 5 working days before the departure date and within the limit of available slots.

New destinations for even more escape desires

From 14 December 2020 and with 2 flights per week, Luxair will fly to Bucharest, the warm Romanian capital. Blending tradition and innovation, Bucharest is a destination full of wonders.

On 21 December 2020, Luxair will operate its first weekly flight to the dynamic Polish capital, Krakow, renowned for its avant-garde art scene and rich architecture.

Usedom, the German coastal island in the Baltic Sea, offers an exotic panorama of soft sandy beaches and stunning seascapes. Heringsdorf airport will be within easy reach with a direct flight operated from Luxembourg.

Luxair will complete its service to the French Riviera by adding Toulon to its network of destinations. With a strategic geographical location, travellers will enjoy an immediate access to the whole universe of Provence with its typical scents and colourful markets.

For the first time, the west coast of France will be directly accessible from Luxembourg by air. La Rochelle, a city open to the sea, will delight the taste buds of gourmets with its abundance of fresh seafood and will offer quick access to the unmissable Ile de Ré.

Thessaloniki, whose streets are brimming with life and dynamism, will add to the offer towards Greece.

Paphos, in Cyprus, will enable travellers to return to the foundations of modern society and all the fervour of romanticism, sheltering numerous ruins from the Roman period and the Middle Ages.

Tunis, a hybrid and cosmopolitan city, and the relaxed capital of Tunisia, will enhance the offer to the Maghreb.

Montenegro, a country of many splendours will be added to the list of destinations served by Luxair, with Tivat, the ultimate destination for relaxation in a world of green plains and crystal-clear water, and Podgorica, the ambivalent capital.
