Practical advice and information

The guide is full of practical information, advice and useful addresses for daily life in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Always in a practical format, this small book designed and produced by expatriates in Luxembourg gives foreign residents the essential reference points to find their way around and make their daily life easier.

Readers will find in the guide all the useful information, advice and tips to find and set up their accommodation, look for a job, open a bank account, set up their home, do their shopping, ...

In addition to administrative assistance and practical advice for everyday life, there is also a lot of room for conviviality, with cultural places, sports facilities and ideas for getting away from it all.

Luxembourg, a land of immigration

Every year, Luxembourg welcomes more than 20,000 newcomers to its soil. In 2021, 25,321 people arrived in Luxembourg. The foreign population now represents more than 47% of the total population, not counting dual nationalities acquired through naturalization.
