ING Solidarity Awards: after the huge success of 2012, ING launches the 2nd edition!
In accordance with its active policy in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ING Luxembourg has the pleasure of organising the ING Solidarity Awards, which was launched last year! All associations (non-profit organisations and foundations) established in the Grand Duchy are invited to participate as of today, but will be required to follow the terms and conditions outlined in the rules.
I am particularly proud that ING Luxembourg is relaunching this brilliant project in 2013. The Bank is happy to support local associations which will benefit from real support thanks to this competition
Luc Verbeken, CEO of ING Luxembourg
Real support for associations!
ING’s aim is to reward and support Luxembourg associations through a two-part competition:
- “Online voting”;
- “Project selected by a panel”
1. Online voting
40 x EUR 1,000
Associations are invited to sign up on the ING Luxembourg website (www.ing.lu/solidarityawards). The 40 associations receiving the most votes from internet users by noon on 30 October 2013 will be rewarded with a cheque worth EUR 1,000.
2. Project selected by a panel
4 x EUR 6,000 + 4 x EUR 3,000
Associations taking part have the possibility to put forward a project by sending their applications to ING before midnight on 25 September 2013 by following the same procedure as for the online voting competition. At the end of that procedure, the projects put forward will be submitted to the panel for the vote.
The projects will be ranked in four categories and at the end, eight of them will be chosen and rewarded by the Panel based on the impact of the project and the size of the association/foundation.
The four categories:
- “Projects from small associations with a national impact”: projects with an impact limited to the Grand Duchy and put forward by associations with no paid employees;
- “Projects from large associations with a national impact”: projects with an impact limited to the Grand Duchy and put forward by associations with at least one paid employee;
- “Projects from small associations with an international impact”: projects with an impact reaching outside the Grand Duchy, put forward by associations with no paid employees;
- “Projects from large associations with an international impact”: projects with an impact reaching outside the Grand Duchy, put forward by associations with at least one paid employee.
For each category, two projects will be rewarded by the Panel: 1st prize EUR 6,000 and 2nd prize EUR 3,000.
The ING Solidarity Awards 2013 ceremony will take place on 13 November at 19:00 at Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg City.
Luc Verbeken, CEO of ING Luxembourg, is delighted to see the return of this initiative: “I am particularly proud that ING Luxembourg is relaunching this brilliant project in 2013. The Bank is happy to support local associations which will benefit from real support thanks to this competition. We encourage associations in the Grand Duchy to take part as soon as possible by downloading their application form and the rules of the “ING Solidarity Awards” from www.ing.lu/solidarityawards! Vill Gléck fir all d'Leit déi mat maachen!”
