At its meeting on 27 June, the Board of Directors of BGL BNP Paribas also named Ms Morsy to the bank’s Executive Committee, effective 1 July 2013, subject to the approval of the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.

Ms Morsy holds a degree in political science and a master’s in international public law. She began working at BNP Paribas in 2000 and has been head of Global Financial Institutions Group since 2010.
