Cargolux: Collective Work Agreement (CWA) update
Following a joint communication on 25th July from Cargolux, LCGB and OGBL, the company today announced that its Comité Mixte, in its meeting held today, reviewed and approved the documentation forming part of a derogation request that will be made by Cargolux to the Luxembourg ‘Direction de l’Aviation civile (DAC)’.
Furthermore, the wording of the derogation request letter has now also been agreed between the airline and the unions and will be finalized on 7th August. With all documents now agreed, the parties plan to sign the addendum to the CWA, including all relevant annexures on 9th August, 2013. This will lead to a re-instatement of the CWA with retroactive effect from 1st January, 2013 until 31st December, 2014.
