Frédéric Kieffer started his career at ING in 2006 as relationship manager in the Companies Desk of Retail banking. Afterwards, he became responsible for the local business of the ING branch in Strassen (2009-2012).  In 2012, he was promoted branch manager of ING Strassen.

A Luxembourg national, he has a Master in Economic Science at the ICHEC Brussels Management School. His knowledge of the local market and his commercial experience both in Retail and with companies are two key qualities to manage the future challenges of Retail Banking.

Following Koen Hermans’ (COO, Chief Operating Officer until 31/12/2014) departure to join ING Belgium on 1 January 2015 and waiting for the approval for the appointment of the new COO by the regulator, Bernard Lhermitte, Head of IT, will assist Luc Verbeken, CEO ING Luxembourg as « COO ad interim ».

For 25 years at ING Luxembourg, Bernard Lhermitte has held different positions of responsibility in OPS&IT, culminating in his appointment as Head of the IT department in 2008, and he has a profound knowledge of the Luxembourg market.
