Throughout his career in asset management, Léon Kirch has developed his own, unique way of looking at value investing. He calls his personal style "Entrepreneurial Value Investing”, where, by combining entrepreneurial thinking with consistent implementation of high conviction ideas, he has been achieving an outstanding performance record over the last seventeen years for the companies that he worked for and for the funds that he managed.

Léon Kirch is joined by key team members from his former venture, which was managing Nordea’s European Value Fund, as well as by his long term companion and former CEO of Sparinvest Jan Stig Rasmussen, whom he convinced to join ECP as an Independent Director.

European Capital Partners has received an asset manager license and is in the process of obtaining regulatory clearance from the Luxembourg CSSF for its range of investment strategies in a UCITS format.
