AXA ART becomes main sponsor of Deloitte Art & Finance Conferences and supports production of Deloitte’s Art & Finance Report
AXA ART announced today that it has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Deloitte Luxembourg for its Art & Finance initiative, covering the period from 2016 to 2018
As part of the agreement, AXA ART will be the main sponsor of the Deloitte Art & Finance conferences, which take place yearly in different cities around the world. AXA ART will also support the production of Deloitte’s Art & Finance report.
Mark your calendars: in 2016, Deloitte will co-organize its Art & Finance conference with Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum. The event will take place on 21 April, 2016, at The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
“Deloitte’s Art & Finance Conferences are well known and have become must-attend events for art market professionals and collectors interested in the international art world,” commented Dirk Heinrich, Managing Director and Head of Marketing & Communications for AXA ART’s global operations. “This relationship is a benefit for our clients,” Heinrich said. “We look forward to collaborating with Deloitte as they work to bring a 360-degree perspective on the developments in the international art market and share insights on how to successfully navigate it.”
Through presentations, Q&As, panel discussions and workshops, Deloitte brings together leading industry specialists to share market knowledge on key topics in the international art world — including the latest updates on legislation. These specialists offer insights and knowledge on everything from the financial implications of running a commercial art or antiques business to building and caring for fine art collections.
“AXA ART’s years of experience in art and insurance operations bring deep expertise to our collaboration,” said Adriano Picinati di Torcello, Director at Deloitte Luxembourg and Art & Finance coordinator within the group. “We look forward to exploring areas of cooperation with the specialist insurer, and will strive to deliver useful insights to those who turn to us for market know-how.”
