PwC - Looking for the top ten next generation companies with global potential in Cyber Security
PwC Cyber Security Day to take place in Luxembourg on 18 October 2016. Ten finalists to present their innovative business case to 200 investors and corporate stakeholders. Deadline for applications: 31 August 2016
Cyber Security is becoming the top concern for leaders. Governments, administrations, multinationals and SMEs need a new generation of Cyber Security solutions to prevent, diagnose and cure threats. The Cyber Security expert network of PwC Luxembourg and PwC's Accelerator have decided to join forces and provide executives with a comprehensive and operational overview of new solutions.
Ten fast growing technology companies will put forward their next generation solutions in Cyber Security in a global pitching competition and networking forum, a first in Luxembourg. PwC’s Accelerator calls for innovative and fast-growing businesses to apply for the chance to present their projects during the upcoming PwC Cyber Security Day.
“We’re looking for companies providing a next generation, disruptive and innovative solution addressing Cyber Security challenges,” commented Vincent Villers, partner and Cyber Security Leader at PwC Luxembourg.
A selection committee of independent jurors will review all applications and select the ten finalists. PwC’s Accelerator will invite the chosen companies to participate in a coaching programme, allowing them to gear up for the final presentations during the PwC Cyber Security Day (#cyberseclu), taking place in Luxembourg, on 18 October.
At the pitching competition, a jury of market and industry experts will evaluate each company based on its value proposition, internationalisation strategy, potential impact in the industry, as well as its elevator pitch performance.
Laurent Probst, partner at PwC Luxembourg and PwC's Accelerator Network Global Leader explained: “The companies we select will pitch their solutions in front of 200 investors, corporates as well as major CEOs, CIOs and CISOs from Luxembourg and abroad, and get the chance to expand their global footprint.”
Companies can apply online for a chance to present their business case by 31 August 2015.
To be considered, all applicants should meet the following criteria: companies with an internationally oriented mind-set and management, introducing a new technology with a next generation solution in Cyber Security, as a response to a true market need, preferably in a B2B model and proven on local markets. “The ten selected companies will meet potential partners and investors carefully selected from our wide-ranging network during our matchmaking event,” added jointly Laurent Probst and Vincent Villers.
Interested companies can apply now on PwC’s Accelerator website.
