Baker McKenzie Luxembourg announces the arrival of Jean-François Trapp as Partner
Jean-François Trapp, 41, has joined Baker McKenzie Luxembourg as Partner, with his team. He will contribute to developing and strengthening the Real Estate department alongside Jean-François Findling, as well as the Banking & Finance practice with Laurent Fessmann
Jean-François Trapp is a renowned expert in real estate law. He regularly assists clients with real estate transactions both in Luxembourg and abroad. He also provides advice in the fields of tenancy law, construction law, administrative law and environmental law. Leveraging his 19 years of experience, Jean-François supports and counsels his clients on all aspects of their real estate investments, including the financial and contractual aspects, as well as those related to corporate law.
His team for over 9 years, composed of Manuela Dias Marques (senior associate), Iwona Pawelec (associate) and Maria Guèler (assistant), will also reinforce the firm's existing teams.
Manuela has over 10 years of experience in real estate law. In addition, she advises on mergers and acquisitions, project finance and company restructurings. Iwona also has 10 years of experience, which she acquired working as a lawyer and in-house counsel in Poland. She focuses her practice on local and international real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Jean-François Trapp headed the real estate practice of a local law firm, after having co-founded the Roemers, Trapp, & Pautot law firm in 2007. He holds a postgraduate degree in business and tax law, obtained from the University of Nancy II (1998), and was admitted to the Luxembourg bar in 2000.
