With Luxinnovation, APATEQ presents Luxembourg as hub for clean technologies at the “Cleantech Forum” in Helsinki
As participant of a workshop hosted by Luxinnovation, clean-tech company APATEQ presents Luxembourg as hub for clean technologies at the upcoming Cleantech Forum in Helsinki (FIN). The annual Cleantech Forum brings together innovative entrepreneurial companies, industrial multinational corporations and financial investors in the field of information, bio and clean technology throughout Europe.
APATEQ Chief Sales Officer Dirk Martin will present the Luxembourgish clean-tech innovator at this year’s Cleantech Forum in Helsinki (FIN). As a “Global Cleantech 100” company, APATEQ will be part of a workshop hosted by Luxinnovation with the title: “How to grow your clean-tech business from Luxembourg – the perfect central hub.” Besides to presenting APATEQ’s fields of activity in green and cost-efficient water and wastewater treatment, Mr. Martin will share his experiences about setting up a clean-tech business in Luxembourg.
“Today, APATEQ is an internationally recognized player for high-end wastewater treatment technologies”, states Dirk Martin. “One of the reasons for our successful development since the company’s foundation in 2013 is definitively the innovation-friendly environment in Luxembourg provided by the government and its national institutions, helping to stimulate the international expansion of innovative projects.”
Workshop moderator Georges Schaaf, Head of Sector Development Clean-tech & Manufacturing at Luxinnovation Industries, adds: “Luxembourg is increasingly becoming an attractive and dynamic country for international clean-tech R&D and innovation. Owing to the country’s strategic location, 60% of European GDP is only an hour’s flight away from Luxembourg, making the country a perfect, central hub.”
The Cleantech Forum brings together innovative, entrepreneurial companies, industrial multinational corporations and financial investors in the field of information, bio and clean technology. With speeches, panel discussions, workshops and networking lunches and dinners, the annual Cleantech Forum offers various information, network and business opportunities.
Besides APATEQ, participants of the Luxinnovation workshop at this year’s Cleantech Forum Helsinki are venture capitalist Encevo (newly launched VC team of mother company of Enovos, the largest power company in Luxembourg) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
