Building the future: Deloitte appoints eight new partners
As the firm’s new headquarters is taking shape in Cloche d’Or, Deloitte is strengthening its partnership with eight new partners
Deloitte Luxembourg is pleased to announce the appointment of Thierry Bovier, Michael Cravatte, Steve Hauman, Jean-Michel Henry, Christophe Masset, Alberto Meriggio, Benjamin Toussaint and Ronan Vander Elst to partner, effective from 1 June 2017.

New partners
The following Deloitte professionals have been appointed to partner level:
Thierry Bovier has more than 11 years of experience in international tax matters, including cross-border investments and reorganization. Thierry advises multinationals on tax aspects of financing, intellectual property activities and on pan-European acquisitions strategies, mergers and joint ventures.
Michael Cravatte has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance, reinsurance and pension fund industry from Luxembourg and abroad. Michael has led Solvency II programs for Life and Non-life insurance groups across Europe, and has developed a strong regulatory expertise.
Steve Hauman specializes in core banking transformation, business process outsourcing, large-scale program delivery as well as CIO advisory topics. He has more than 17 years of experience acquired in the financial services industry as well as in management and IT consultancy.
Jean-Michel Henry has more than 11 years of experience in international tax. He advises multinational clients mainly based in the US on a variety of international tax issues, including M&A, cross-border withholding taxes, and IP activities.
Christophe Masset has over 10 years of experience in international tax with a strong focus on alternative investments. Christophe is specialized in M&A practice within private equity and real estate, covering international tax planning for both regulated and non-regulated companies.
Alberto Meriggio has 12 years of audit experience, principally serving clients in the private equity industry. He is a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Réviseur d’entreprises agréé.
Benjamin Toussaint has solid experience in international tax with a specific focus on real estate and investment funds. From 2013 – 2015, he was seconded to Deloitte’s International Tax Centre of Excellence for the Middle East and North Africa region in Dubai where he coordinated M&A transactions.
Ronan Vander Elst has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and IT, with a particular focus on data analytics, digital and regulatory regimes. Ronan has led large transformation programs from strategy to full implementation.
With this year’s partner nominations, the number of partners at Deloitte Luxembourg reaches 94.
