KPMG continues to invest in technology and digital solutions hiring Jean-Luc Brach, Luxembourg CIO of the Year 2016-2017
KPMG today announced that one well-known figure of Luxembourg’s technology scene, Jean-Luc Brach, is joining the firm to bolster its investments in technology and accelerate the development of digital solutions.
Brach joins the firm on 15th of May, and is set to lead the KPMG Regulated Services (PSF) arm of KPMG alongside Head of Advisory Pascal Denis. Brach will also spearhead the firm’s ongoing technology developments, accelerating the technology roadmap that will help KPMG and its clients thrive in a digital world.
Jean-Luc commented: “In recent years, KPMG has made bold moves to develop digital solutions for its clients, embedding technology into the very fabric of the company. In my new role, I’ll be leading a team of multi-disciplinary developers and architects supporting the firm and our clients in this journey. Further to this, I’ll be responsible to operate and develop new best-in-class services through the regulated PSF branch of the firm.”
Pascal Denis, Head of Advisory, said: “Clients can continue to expect the same outstanding quality levels from the team performing outsourced services in the PSF, in terms of e-archiving facilities, client on-boarding and KYC, forensic investigations, regulatory and tax reporting, and hosting of RegTech start-ups. KPMG has a bold ambition to embed digital in everything the firm does, and Jean-Luc will help make this a reality.”
A computer science graduate of the Institut National Polytechnique de Nancy, Jean-Luc brings huge IT and digital credentials from a career that spans more than two decades, multiple industries, and many transformation projects. In his various executive roles, he has worked at both a local and international level in major firms including KNEIP, RBC, Accenture, Digital Equipment Corporation and Bull. He was elected CIO of the year in 2016/2017 by his peers.
Fabrice Leonardi, COO, said: “Attracting a talent like Jean-Luc is an undeniable asset for our firm. In his new role, Jean-Luc will bring his extensive experience in the IT ecosystem to support the development of new technology-led solutions for our clients, by bringing new ideas and unleashing the full potential of our teams. We are excited to see him embark on the digital journey with us. Jean-Luc’s deep knowledge of both technology and the local IT market in Luxembourg will enable us to consolidate our status as a leading provider of professional services, bringing new ideas and innovation to our clients who strive through an ever more complex business landscape.”
