A fresh perspective
Deloitte Luxembourg welcomes over 280 new joiners.
As in previous years, the months of September and October have seen an influx of new joiners at Deloitte Luxembourg; this fall season alone, the firm has strengthened its teams with more than 280 new colleagues. Earlier this week, many of Deloitte’s new recruits travelled to the South-East coast of Sardinia for their induction week, an intense week packed with workshops, business-specific trainings and creative networking activities, for a smooth transition into the Deloitte family.
Upon their arrival, the new Deloitte professionals were greeted by John Psaila, Managing Partner and Stephan Tilquin, Talent Leader, at Deloitte Luxembourg.
“Welcoming our new joiners is something very dear to me. It is a privilege to stand in front of so many talented and eager professionals as they take the first steps of their journey toward a fully-fledged career at Deloitte. Together we will unwrap and examine the core values that define our corporate culture, focusing on the impact they can make as individuals whilst growing both personally and as professionals,” explained John Psaila.
During the induction week, the Deloitte fledglings had the opportunity to get to know one another in an informal setting through engaging activities and networking events, all the while meeting more experienced colleagues and prospering from a continued diffusion of shared knowledge and experience. The new recruits attended detailed workshops and soft skill trainings tailored to address the firm’s broad field of expertise. Each day brought with it a new set of challenges, actively encouraging the new joiners to consider practical business cases and come up with innovative approaches.
“Immersing our new joiners in such an event is the ideal way for them to grow and learn in a condensed space of time. Facilitating a platform where our new recruits feel at ease to explore their ideas whilst offering them the opportunity to discover the inner workings of the firm promises a fruitful outcome for both parties,” added Stephan Tilquin.
