3C Payment, a leading Global payment service provider and a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has expanded into Asia Pacific with the successful deployment of its 3C Pay@Counter solution with Oracle Hospitality’s Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) at 27 Hong Kong sites for a multi-national quick service food and beverage restaurant.

The 3C Pay@Counter solution with Oracle Hospitality operates by installing Oracle Hospitality Simphony on an Oracle Workstation 610 with the Oracle Payment Interface. This communicates to 3C’s P2PE (Point to Point Encrypted) terminal payment software 3C POS, which has been deployed with the VeriFone VX820 terminal device in Hong Kong, both of which are specifically designed for the quick service hospitality industry. All transactions are then processed through the secure 3C Integra Payment Gateway ensuring speed, resilience, and security at all times.

Through 3C’s collaboration with processor Planet Payment in Asia Pacific, Global Payments are the acquiring institution for this new deployment with all major card brands accepted including contact and contactless.

The 3C POS Pay@Counter solution meets the essential needs of high volume quick service industry merchants where speed of transaction with a high focus on contactless transactions and offline configuration that allows for continuous trading in the event of a network failure are critical.

“We are thrilled to have completed the roll out of our industry-leading 3C POS Solution to our first customer in Hong Kong,” commented Tim Goodwin Chief Operating Officer of 3C Payment. “We have quickly delivered to the Asian market a full hospitality product which integrates with the new Oracle Payment Interface and extends our range of flexible deployment options to a brand new region. 3C has deployed a standardized payment solution which allows merchants to confidently trade across continents with the same functionality and flows, and we are excited to bring our other Oracle Validated Integration payment solutions into this market in the coming months.”

3C Payment has a 30-year history of successful deployments to 3C and Oracle Hospitality merchants across the EMEA region. Through this collaboration, 3C Payment’s point-to-point encrypted (P2PE) solutions allow Oracle Hospitality customers to benefit from specialized transaction flows and a secure feature-rich payment platform, which improves efficiency, reduces staff errors and ensures a great customer experience
