Advanzia Bank and Mastercard launch Tarjeta YOU, a new credit card for the Spanish market offering significant benefits
Advanzia Bank S.A, a European online direct bank specialising in credit cards and payment solutions, has announced in partnership with Mastercard the launch of Tarjeta YOU, introducing Advanzia’s successful payment product formula to the Spanish market.
Tarjeta YOU builds on Advanzia’s commitment to give consumers maximum flexibility in managing their finances, with a card that offers unique advantages to Spanish users. These include:
No annual fees
No need to change banks
No fees for withdrawing cash from ATMs worldwide
No foreign exchange commission
Comprehensive free travel insurance and purchase insurance
One of the key propositions of Tarjeta YOU is the free credit card offering, as customers do not have to pay an annual fee. The card also offers a flexible split payment option, which empowers the consumer to decide each month how much they want to pay immediately and how much to defer until later. In addition, consumers do not get charged for withdrawing money from cash machines when using Tarjeta YOU.
Another key advantage of Tarjeta YOU is the application process, which is fast, simple and entirely online, and does not require the consumer to change their existing banks. The card also comes with an insurance package, including comprehensive travel insurance and purchase protection insurance, all completely free.
Other features of Tarjeta YOU include a contactless payment facility, free 24-hour customer service, and the security of Mastercard SecureCode.
Roland Ludwig, CEO of Advanzia, comments: “We believe that consumers demand a credit card that is not only free and simple to use, but also makes it easier to manage their finances. Tarjeta YOU is based on the same product that we have already successfully rolled out in other European markets, and delivers significant benefits to Spanish consumers. These include an application process that is one of the quickest and simplest in the market, and no fees for withdrawing cash from ATMs worldwide, a feature that is unique in Spain. By consistently delivering the same core product values of ease-of-use and no annual fees wherever we operate, Advanzia has experienced impressive growth over the past few years.”
Alejandro Banegas, Business Development Director of Mastercard Spain, adds: “We are very pleased to partner with Advanzia in Spain, as this give us the opportunity to strengthen our commitment towards providing innovative payment methods, offering great benefits to our users in combination with absolute payment security.”
