FundRock appointed ManCo for newly launched Chimera UCITS ICAV

FundRock, a leading European third-party UCITS Management Company (“ManCo”), Alternative Investment Fund Manager (“AIFM”) and Authorised Corporate Director (“ACD”) today announces its appointment as the management company of the recently launched Chimera UCITS ICAV (“Irish Collective Asset-management Vehicle”) with Chimera Capital Limited as the appointed Investment Manager.

Chimera Capital Limited is an Abu Dhabi-based investment firm, that offers its clients unique access to innovative investment instruments with a primary focus on the alternative asset management space.

In this capacity, FundRock will provide the risk management and regulatory framework for the ICAV and undertake the sub-funds’ delegate oversight.

The first sub-fund, Chimera S&P UAE UCITS ETF Fund, is an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”), which seeks to provide investors with a total return, taking into account capital and income returns. The Fund’s investment policy is to invest 100% of its net assets in a portfolio of equity securities that consists of the Index‘s equity securities. The Fund is passively managed, which tracks the performance of the S&P UAE BMI Liquid 20/35 Capped Index.
