AC Biode launch Bio toilet “AC Biolet”
No water and infrastructure needed.
1. Problem:
Building toilets requires infrastructure, water, chemicals, and has issues of smells and sewage sludge.
2. Solution:
AC Biode (In Luxembourg, Kyoto/Tokyo, Japan), with their partner, have started to sell bio toilets that do not require water to flush and infrastructure. They use normal woodchips or sawdust. Use cases are for islands, construction sites, remote areas, ships, areas with limited water, resorts, natural parks, camps, back-up, against natural disasters, and more.
The toilets have already been deployed in Japan, Russia, Vietnam, USA, and more. We aim to expand the solutions around the globe to tackle the problem and expand the access. TRL 9, market ready.
“We accelerate to expand this simple but vital solutions including but not limited to emerging countries and different applications in developed countries. In the future, we aim to locally produce these toilets to reduce production costs and maintenance costs.”, says Tadashi Kubo, Co-Founder & CEO of AC Biode.
