Opened in 2018 in Beggen, ALEO intends to bring a bit of sunshine and the Mediterranean art of living to Luxembourg. In a warm and cozy atmosphere, the restaurant offers a gourmet journey through its innovative culinary compositions inspired by Greek food philosophy. In addition to its delicious dishes, ALEO also features an extensive wine list and signature cocktails, developed by its experienced and talented bartenders.

For this fall, the Chef Dionysis Papanikolaou, awarded Gold by Premium Awards both in 2017 and 2018, developed new exquisite dishes, bringing new flavors to his menu. If you are craving high quality Mediterranean dishes, here’s what you can expect coming at Aleo: a delicious tuna Takaki marinated in Ponzu sauce served with homemade bruschetta; a fresh sea bass in a sashimi style served with homemade mayonnaise flavored with safran and bottarga fish roe...

As for any business in the HORECA sector, COVID has also been tough for ALEO. But the restaurant adapted to the pandemic and new services have been developed during the past year.

“Giving up was never an option. We found new ways of continuously serving our customers in the best possible ways…” says Christos Soulis, co-owner of ALEO.

Since the crisis, ALEO offers services for take-away and delivery. So if you wish to dive into a Mediterranean experience without leaving your home, it is now becoming possible with ALEO !

AleoDeli is also one of the many offerings served by ALEO. It is a deli shop inside the restaurant, which sells high quality Greek products, such as extra virgin oil, traditional pasta, chutneys, herbs and spices, olives, wines, Greek coffee brewed in Greece, homemade beverages...
