Apothecary’s “Charity Edition 2022” is entirely dedicated to the children
2022 marks the second time that Apothecary, a specialist in healthy vitamin juices, offers a “Charity Edition” at the end of the year: An attractive product all around, which is benefiting the immune system and a good cause. All of the sales proceeds will be donated to a charitable organisation. Jerry Wagner, the founder of the start-up, has collaborated with the talented Luxembourgish illustrator, Lynn Cosyn, to compose this year’s product design.
Apothecary’s “Charity Edition” is a cold-pressed fruit juice, full of vitamins, which owes its incomparable taste to a heart-healthy mix made from pomegranates, oranges, cinnamon and ginger.
This exclusive edition is limited to 2 800 bottles and focuses not only on the interior contents but also on the exterior packaging. Last year’s bottle and box were designed by the artist Jacques Schneider and for the 2022 edition, Jerry Wagner contacted Lynn Cosyn. An illustrator, whose career path, based on diligence and initiative, reminded him in many ways of his own professional career.
Lynn Cosyn creates a children’s character who loves fruit and vegetables.
Lynn Cosyn, born in 1985, studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University and changed career paths in 2016 to become a full-time illustrator. When she first started posting her drawings on Instagram, people quickly became fascinated by her talent.
As of today, she works on all types of art projects, from smaller visuals to bigger mural pieces and was even chosen to decorate a Luxair-airplane. For Apothecary’s “Charity Edition”, the artist wanted to draw something special: As a young mother, she has a special bond with children and that is why she decided to design a funny children’s character with a weakness for fruit and vegetables. The optimistic mascot does not only figure on the bottle itself but also on the container to spread a dreamy “Winter Wonderland” feeling.

Fundraising proceeds go integrally to Trauerwee a.s.b.l.
Following the wish of the artist, all of the profits from the “Charity Edition” will be integrally donated to the foundation “Trauerwee a.s.b.l.”. The association supports and assists children and youth, suffering from the loss of a parent or a loved one. (Website: www.trauerwee.lu). „This decision shows that Lynn values the well-being of the younger generation – a value that is not only shared by Apothecary, but also by our clients”, adds Jerry Wagner.

As a special addition, the “Charity Edition”-Juice comes with a tag, containing seeds of selected herbs, that can be planted at home.
“The project is a collaboration between Apothecary and talented artists, such as Lynn Cosyn. This partnership aims to promote humanitarian thoughts and foster the local economy -- following Apothecary’s philosophy, which is to work primarily with local and regional partners, to offer cold-pressed juices of the highest quality”, explains Jerry Wagner.
