Mrs Fanous is a U.S. citizen who has worked more than 17 years in the auditing, Data-as-aService, aerospace, satellite, wireless voice, and Internet of Things (IoT) industries. She gained experience in public accounting (KPMG and Ernst & Young), Technical Accounting and SEC reporting (Iridium Communications), and building accounting/finance departments in earlystage space-based data and communication companies (Aireon and SpaceLink).

Commenting on the appointment, Kleos’ CEO, Alan Khalili said, “I am delighted to welcome Sara to this new role. We are fortunate to be able to attract and work with such a talent. Kleos recently achieved two-way communication with all four Observer Mission (KSF3) satellites that launched successfully on 3rd January aboard the Transporter-6 SpaceX mission.
