Plansee Group expands Executive Board
Plansee Holding AG is expanding its Executive Board to four people as of July 1, 2023. The board members will assume responsibility for cross-sectional functions and tasks. The Plansee Group is thus taking the next step towards becoming a fully integrated group of companies.
Dr. Wolfgang Köck is retiring at his own request. New members of the board, headed by the Chairman Karlheinz Wex, are Andreas Lackner, Ulrich Lausecker and Andreas Schwenninger.
"With the new appointments to the Executive Board and cross-sectional responsibility for key corporate functions such as production, processes, purchasing, quality and logistics, we are creating the conditions to further strengthen the cooperation within the Group," says Michael Schwarzkopf, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Plansee Holding AG. In addition, the board members are responsible for cross-functional projects and key tasks that are developed and implemented across the group. Plansee has already significantly strengthened the group functions in July 2021 after the majority acquisition in the subsidiary CERATIZIT.
Karlheinz Wex has been a member of the Plansee Group Executive Board for 22 years and has been spokesman of the Executive Board since 2021. Andreas Schwenninger started his career in controlling at the Plansee Group and held management positions in the USA and Luxembourg for many years. Since 2021, he has been managing director of the service company Plansee Group Functions. Andreas Lackner has been active as a managing director in all business areas of the Plansee Group, in Austria and abroad. He has been the spokesman of the Executive Board of CERATIZIT in Luxembourg since 2019 and knows the Group's production network better than hardly anyone else in the company. Ulrich Lausecker started his career in sales at CERATIZIT and Plansee and has been managing director of Plansee HPM in Reutte for seven years.
In addition to their board seats, Lackner, Lausecker and Schwenninger will continue to hold their current operational responsibilities at CERATIZIT, Plansee HPM and Plansee Group Functions..
