From 29 October 2023, and initially with 2 flights per week, on Saturdays and Sundays, Luxair will land in the heart of Milan, at Linate airport. These two new flights will complement the 14 Milanese connections per week to Milan – Malpensa airport already in place.

Due to its proximity to the Lombard capital, Linate Airport is Milan's "city airport" and in just over an hour's flight, followed by 12 minutes by metro, passengers will reach the city-centre of the Italian economic capital. The enrichment of the Milan service will add even more flexibility to the commuters of the Italian community residing in Luxembourg and in the Greater Region towards their country. Italian fashion and culture enthusiasts, will be able to take advantage of ideal flight times and optimal proximity to the city-centre, to treat themselves to a weekend. Only one night and two full days on site... enough to enjoy a perfect break of 48 hours of shopping and discoveries.

The flights to Malpensa and Linate can be combined with the "Multi-City" option bookable on the Luxair website, allowing travellers to combine their trips between the two airports. Passengers will thus benefit from greater flexibility and optimized frequencies. This solution is a real added value for frequent travellers to and from Luxembourg but also for those seeking for weekends combining breath-taking visits, gourmet getaways and shopping for all tastes.

The opening of sales is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 July 2023.

Luxair expands its network of captivating destinations to Praia, La Palma and Ljubljana.

The introduction of Linate comes in addition to three new connections. These new routes demonstrate Luxair's continued commitment to offering diversified travel while strengthening its position in the European air transport industry.

4 flights to Praia, Cape Verde

From December 18th until the 9th of January 2024. Luxair will perform 4 flights to the Capital of Cape Verde; Praia. The plane will stop in Praia before resuming its flight to Luxembourg the following day.

The launch of ticket sales is scheduled for the 27th of July.

La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain:

From November 9th 2023, a new rotation per week will allow nature lovers to discover "La Isla Bonita", also known as La Palma, classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO since 2002. Out of all the Canary Islands, it is probably the most authentic and a well-kept secret because of its wild and breathtaking landscapes. The island will be accessible via a triangular flight passing through Fuerteventura. These new flights will complement the 10 connections per week already in place to neighboring islands (Teneriffe, Grande Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote). Tickets are already available for sale.
