Luxair Assists Its Passengers in Palma de Mallorca Due to Airport Closure
Luxair announces its proactive measures to assist passengers affected by the closure of Palma de Mallorca airport due to severe weather conditions.
A storm hitting Palma de Mallorca on June 11th, 2024, has led to the temporary closure of the airport, disrupting travel plans for numerous passengers. Among them, 120 passengers were anticipated to board a Luxair bound flight for Luxembourg. Luxair representatives in Palma de Mallorca are actively working to provide accommodation for the affected passengers for an overnight stay.
Provided an improvement of the situation, Luxair intends to operate two flights tomorrow, June 12th, in order to bring the impacted passengers back to Luxembourg.
Luxair apologises for any inconvenience caused to its passengers due to this unforeseen circumstance and assures them that every effort is being made to minimize disruption and provide necessary assistance.
