KPMG Luxembourg invests in its talents with 12 new leaders to accelerate KPMG’s growth

On this occasion, KPMG is happy to announce the promotion of 8 senior leaders to accelerate KPMG’s growth. They will take up their new role as of the 1st of October 2024.
- Benedikt Barz is an Audit Partner in the Bank/Insurance team at KPMG with more than 11 years of experience in the financial services industry. His professional talent lies in his visionary approach to client service, consistently creating opportunities and acting as a trusted advisor. As a Partner, Benedikt aims to solidify KPMG's reputation by delivering top-notch audit services while becoming the go-to advisor in the banking market.
- Simon Denis is a Tax Partner who has become a vital part of the Alternative Investments team and made his mark as an expert in advisory services providing clients with pragmatic solutions in challenging environments. As a new Partner, Simon plans to leverage KPMG’s one-stop-shop approach with 360° expertise from outstanding experts to make KPMG the Clear Choice for clients and a leader in the industry, particularly the Private Equity sector.
- Rhenie de Vries is an Audit Partner specializing in commercial and industrial companies, as well as IFRS topic analysis. In her role as Partner in Audit, Rhenie aspires to be an authentic leader remembered for championing empathetic leadership and embracing diversity.
- Edouard Fort is a Tax Partner in the financial services tax department. With his technical expertise, he aims to strengthen KPMG's visibility as a trusted tax services partner in the financial industry. In his new role, Edouard will focus on enhancing genuine client relationships, driving technology-based innovation, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Julien Ghys is a Tax Partner with extensive experience in tax advisory services and a keen eye on market trends. In his new role as Partner, Julien aims to make KPMG the top choice for clients by blending operational excellence with a deep understanding of market needs, delivering services with a human touch. He plans to expand KPMG’s footprint in the real estate and private debt sectors, aspiring to become the go-to tax partner for these asset classes.
- Lana Khoury is a Partner in Advisory with over 20 years of experience managing complex, international technology programs. She excels in designing and delivering strategic solutions that drive business initiatives through technology-enabled solutions. In her new role, Lana's goal is to focus on innovation, client centricity, and continuous investment in new products and personnel upskilling.
- Dieter Putzeys is a Partner in Advisory and insurance expert in life, non-life, and reinsurance. Dieter’s comprehensive knowledge covers the full spectrum of the sector. He focuses on leading strategy, transformation, digitalization, and licensing projects, among others, but his new role also involves making existing companies future-proof and attracting new ones to Luxembourg.
- Jacques Bortuzzo is a Managing Director in Tax and Head of China Desk. A strong business developer, with extensive experience working with Chinese clients, both in Luxembourg and in China, he aspires to make China a key focus for KPMG Luxembourg. In his new role as Managing Director, Jacques has ambitions to further strengthen Luxembourg’s role as the leading financial center for China in the EU.

KPMG welcomes new Partners and Managing Director

- Cindyrella Amistadi has joined the Advisory group at KPMG as a new Partner making her a valuable asset in Risk & Investment Services. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry working with major players, she plans to make her mark by championing the adoption of new technologies, enhancing service offerings, building strong client relationships, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Vincent De Santis makes a great addition to the Partners team in Deal Advisory. As a new Partner, he has been busy establishing a new debt advisory service and aims to position KPMG as the go-to firm for debt advisory and corporate finance in Luxembourg and beyond.
- Cecile Louchard - de Barsy, a seasoned forensic expert, recently joined KPMG as a Managing Director in Advisory to develop tools and services aimed at making AML/KYC easier, efficient and more enjoyable with automation. With a background in the digital-native crypto industry, Cecile aims to facilitate the technological transition for clients and team members.
- Xavier Roch-Lhotellier, as a new Partner in Advisory, leads exciting digital transformation activities within the Management Consulting team and oversees the Strategic Alliances portfolio. Right now, he’s focusing on investing in innovation and reinforcing KPMG's reputation as a trusted technology consulting advisor.
