Starting on October 27th, 2024, Luxair will expand its offerings for the upcoming winter season by adding the Netherlands to its list of served countries. This new route will enable both business and leisure travellers to fly from Luxembourg to the vibrant city of Rotterdam. The connection also provides efficient access to surrounding areas, including The Hague, the prestigious Delft University, and the beautiful beaches of Zandvoort and Scheveningen.

From October 27th, 2024, Luxair will invite its passengers to discover the diverse and captivating city of Rotterdam. In just 1 hour and 5 minutes on board Luxair’s De Havilland Q400, passengers will arrive in a city renowned for its modern architecture, rich maritime history and dynamic cultural scene. Whether you are a fan of contemporary art, innovative design, or simply looking to explore a city with a unique character, Rotterdam promises an exciting and unforgettable experience.

The convenient flight schedule, with departures five times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, is perfectly suited for both leisure and business travelers. This new route reflects Luxair’s commitment to providing high-quality connections to popular destinations across Europe.

Thanks to Luxair's flights to Rotterdam, passengers can effortlessly explore the surrounding areas. A short 20 to 30-minute drive provides swift access to The Hague, connecting Luxembourg to several important European and international institutions. Students can easily reach the renowned Delft University, while North Sea lovers can enjoy strolling around the picturesque Scheveningen beach. Additionally, the stunning beach of Zandvoort is just an hour's drive away.

Luxair’s De Havilland Q400, operating this route, is the ideal aircraft for the Luxembourg-Rotterdam connection due to its exceptional CO2 and fuel efficiency. This turboprop aircraft consumes 30% less fuel compared to comparable jets, making it significantly more environmentally friendly and contributing to lower carbon emissions.
