PwC Luxembourg is expanding its Assurance services offering to clients in response to the rapid growth of the Alternatives market segment. To meet the increasing demand and bolster its leadership in this area, PwC Luxembourg welcomes two new Direct Entry partners who will play pivotal roles in supporting, complementing and enhancing the existing team.

This strategic addition reinforces PwC Luxembourg's commitment to excellence and innovation in the Assurance sector.

Clotilde Buriez, of French nationality, brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the field of auditing and has been a “Réviseur d’Entreprises” since 2017. She has been a dedicated Partner in the Assurance practice at another audit firm since 2022, where she has consistently delivered exceptional service to her clients in the real estate industry.

Clotilde’s proficiency extends to the audit of consolidated financial statements for both regulated and unregulated entities. She is well-versed in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Luxembourg Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP). Clotilde has 

demonstrated her ability to manage complex multi-location audits, including the supervision of secondary audit teams, in addition to her expertise in SPV accounting and reporting.

Stefan Rech as a new Partner at PwC Luxembourg will leverage his extensive experience and expertise in private equity to further strengthen the firm’s capabilities in this sector. Stefan, of German nationality, brings a wealth of knowledge in financial auditing and asset valuation, reflecting PwC Luxembourg’s commitment to delivering top-tier services to its clients. Stefan joins with nearly 15 years of professional experience in the financial industry. Recognised as a “Réviseur d’Entreprises” since 2018, Stefan has served as a Partner in the Assurance practice since 2022, focusing on private equity clients.

In his new role, Stefan will focus on audit of Private Equity and Venture Capital clients.
