PwC: Loek de Preter appointed Transfer Pricing partner
With the increased international focus on Luxembourg Transfer Pricing and new legislation, requiring documentation and adherence to the OECD arm’s length principle in full swing, PwC Luxembourg has appointed Loek de Preter as Transfer Pricing partner
In his new role, he will support the firm’s Transfer Pricing and International Tax Structure practice in servicing our clients to adequately master the current Transfer Pricing challenges.
“While this new legislation surely shows Luxembourg’s commitment to encouraging transparency on tax issues, initiated in 2010, the impacts are significant for all industries”, says Wim Piot, partner and Tax Leader at PwC Luxembourg. “Loek de Preter is a recognised expert and his vast experience in international tax services, transfer pricing and value chain transformation projects, is a great asset for our clients.”
Loek de Preter has more than 27 years of experience in international tax and Transfer Pricing. As a fiscal economist, he started his career with the Dutch Ministry of Finance and worked during five years with PwC in the Netherlands. After working in Industry for eight years he returned in 2006 to PwC as Transfer Pricing and Value Chain Transformation Partner in Germany.
