PwC Luxembourg welcomes New Head of Human Resources, Delphine Berlemont
PwC Luxembourg is delighted to welcome its new Head of Human Resources, Delphine Berlemont. Delphine officially takes up her post as of 15 May 2024, reporting to Roxane Haas, current People Leader on the Country Leadership Team (CLT) at PwC Luxembourg.
In her newly appointed role at PwC Luxembourg, Delphine Berlemont brings 25+ years of experience in HR and finance, to support the firm’s people strategy, having held various leadership positions in HR at Amazon in Luxembourg, in a Big Four and at ING Luxembourg. She started her career in 1998 as an external auditor until she turned to her passion in 2009: managing human resources. Delphine eventually became HR Operations Director of a Big Four in Luxembourg before joining Amazon in Luxembourg in 2015, where she led the HR function for Amazon Devices EU and Alexa Internationally. In 2020, she took on a new adventure at ING Luxembourg as HR Director and member of the Executive Committee.
Throughout these experiences, Delphine took the opportunity to define HR strategies to foster growth, innovation and organisational effectiveness, while building and developing business and HR teams. For Delphine, attracting the best people, developing their skills even further and aiding the creation of strong, diverse and inclusive teams across the organisation is a priority, and this makes her a good fit for PwC.
Delphine is well known in Luxembourg for her passion and desire to place employee experience at the heart of HR and her focus will mainly be on such topics as developing HR strategies aligned with the firm goals, enhancing Learning & Development opportunities, talent acquisition and attraction, fostering and promoting a positive work culture and employee experience.
Delphine will report to Roxane Haas, People Leader of PwC Luxembourg, working together to strengthen PwC Luxembourg’s enviable talent pool and career journey, with the support of Séverine Moca, in her role of Head of Human Resources Operations, managing global mobility, compensation & benefits, payroll and people relations.
At this time, PwC Luxembourg would like to extend a huge thank you to Lieven Lambrecht, former People Leader at PwC Luxembourg, for all his hard work and dedication and wishes him well for his future. Lieven will leave PwC following the transition of responsibilities with Delphine.
Roxane Haas, People Leader, PwC Luxembourg: “The HR function is an extremely critical one, and ever more so in a rapidly changing world with accelerated technological advances and the required skill sets that are needed to harness those advances, while always maintaining a human touch and excellent client service. This is even more true in a company such as ours that strives to be the clear leader in our core markets as well as a role model and standard setter in Luxembourg. At PwC Luxembourg, we are aware that our greatest asset is our people. We also know that happy, successful, innovative and motivated talent is the key to our business sustainability. Delphine is an excellent addition to our team in this regard. We have confidence that her professional understanding of the business needs, combined with her human approach, will help us to develop and maintain the talent needed to achieve our ambitions.”
Delphine Berlemont, new Head of Human Resources, PwC Luxembourg, said: “I am delighted to join PwC Luxembourg. Embarking on this new journey, I am eager to champion the already well-recognised firm’s culture of continuous growth and development, that enables employees to flourish and contribute to the company’s success.
