CMS Luxembourg promotes Audrey Bertolotti as Partner in its Employment & Pensions and Dispute Resolution departments
Audrey Bertolotti is appointed as Partner in CMS Luxembourg’s Employment & Pensions and Dispute Resolution departments. Audrey, who joined the firm in November 2013, has been heading those departments ever since.
Since her arrival, she has been advising both national and international clients on major transactions and matters, such as collective redundancies, HR due diligence, business restructuring, HR assistance to international groups coming to Luxembourg, individual dismissals and reviews of HR policies. On the dispute resolution side, she has been assisting clients in civil and commercial disputes involving millions of euros. Together with her team, she has been conducting and defending litigation cases before all relevant Luxembourg courts.
Julien Leclère, Managing Partner of CMS Luxembourg, declared: “Audrey’s enthusiasm and professionalism have propelled the practice forward since her arrival in 2013. The departments have been quickly growing and the team is now composed of three associates, two of them are also members of our German desk. I am delighted to count Audrey as one of my fellow partners and I look forward to starting working with her on new projects.”
Tom Heremans, Managing Partner of CMS DeBacker, added: “Audrey’s appointment is well deserved and demonstrates our determination to build a genuine employment and dispute resolution practice in Luxembourg. Clients expect to be able to rely on a strong Luxembourg office and Audrey’s promotion, along with a number of recent hires, such as Funds partner Françoise Pfeiffer, has be seen in that context.”
Audrey holds a master's degree in Business Law and a magistère in European Business Law from Nancy 2 University (2002). She obtained a DESS in International Business Law from Aix-Marseille III University in 2004 and a Diploma in Tax Law from the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in 2005. Audrey has been a qualified Luxembourg attorney-at-law since 2006.
She is a member of the Employment Law Specialists Association (ELSA) and a former member of the Consultative Commission on Human Rights. She is also involved in the non-governmental international development organisation SOS Children’s Villages.
