This new online suite enables Luxair customers to manage their flights online – simply by clicking on the “eServices” and “Manage my Booking” tabs on www.luxair.lu. Besides the basic options to review the initial flight booking and to modify customer contact info, a full suite of new services are offered now. Travel plans changed? Simply change your travel dates or upgrade to Business Class with only a few clicks (except primo fare). Additional services wished? Just add optional service to your booking – extra baggage (with a price reduction of 33% compared to its manual reservation at the airports), sports equipment, bikes and the transport of pets. Last but not least, Business Class and Luxair Flex passengers can cancel their flights directly online without any charge.

Background
Since October 2013, Luxair has performed large investments into the new Amadeus Altéa platform, a complete passenger service system for the entire travel journey. This platform is proposed by our strategic partner Amadeus IT Group, a leading Airline IT provider with a unique portfolio of new generation airline solutions. The objective of this project was to harmonize successively our revenue, inventory, ticketing and departure control systems. This is a key basis for new customer-centric Luxair travel solutions along the customer journey. It provides a wide range of internal process improvements and enables the access to valuable new products and services. “Manage my Booking” is one of the most visible new features for our clients. Luxair will progressively introduce further new services at various travel steps later this year.
