ING Solidarity Awards 2015: associations once again take centre-stage!
Over the past four years, the ING Solidarity Awards have become a key event in the Luxembourg calendar. This year, ING Luxembourg is delighted to be holding the fourth edition of the awards, which were the first initiative of their kind in the Grand-Duchy when they were launched in 2012.
I am delighted that ING Luxembourg is continuing this excellent initiative for a fourth successive year!
I would invite all associations in Luxembourg to take part in the ING Solidarity Awards without delay, either by simply submitting their candidacy for the online vote, or by adding a description of their project to their application on the site www.ing.lu/solidarityawards. Vill Gléck un all d'Leit déi mat maachen!
Luc Verbeken CEO of ING Luxembourg
All non-profit associations and foundations incorporated and established in Luxembourg are invited to submit their applications now.
Real support for associations!
As in the three previous editions, ING’s aim is to reward and support Luxembourg associations through a two-part competition:
- Online voting;
- Project selected by a panel.
1. Online voting
40 x EUR 1,000
Associations are invited to sign up on the ING Luxembourg website
(www.ing.lu/solidarityawards), following the terms and conditions outlined in the rules. The 40 associations receiving the most votes from internet users between 29 October 2015 and noon on 19 November 2015 will be rewarded with a cheque worth EUR 1,000.
2. Project selected by a panel
4 x EUR 6,000 + 4 x EUR 3,000
Associations taking part also have the possibility of putting forward a project by sending their applications to ING before midnight on 15 October 2015, following the same procedure as for the online voting competition.
At the end of that procedure, the projects put forward will be submitted to the panel for the vote.
The projects will be ranked in four categories and at the end, eight of them will be chosen and rewarded by the ING Solidarity Awards panel based on their value, impact, originality and methodology.
The four categories:
To take part, an association/foundation must belong to one of four categories:
- “Partially voluntary associations supporting national projects”;
- “100% voluntary associations supporting national projects”;
- “Partially voluntary associations supporting international projects”;
- “100% voluntary associations supporting international projects”.
For each category, two projects will be rewarded: 1st prize EUR 6,000 and 2nd prize EUR 3,000.
The ING Solidarity Awards 2015 ceremony will take place on 25 November at 19:00 at Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg City.
Luc Verbeken, CEO of ING Luxembourg, encourages all associations established in
