Developed on the basis of an innovative concept that BGL BNP Paribas is currently implementing across its network, the new branch, placing the emphasis on client welcome, strikes an ideal balance between closeness and remote services while riding on the cutting edge of new technologies (including touch tablets, video conferencing, PCs and mobiles, internet access, free WiFi, and iPads).

The branch was designed to respond to the changing needs of clients and develop ever closer relationships with them. The 100% cashless branch does not feature physical counters. Instead, advisors meet with clients and guide them around the branch, helping them to use the services at their disposal. Clients have access to a discreet self-banking area and ATMs for withdrawals and deposits. As such, they have access to the same services as in a conventional branch while benefitting from enhanced advice.  

Branch director Guy Muller and deputy branch director Monica Duarte and their staff welcome clients and visitors during special opening hours, Mondays to Fridays from 12.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Focused on advice for private individuals, the Pétange branch makes a complementary fit with the Kordall branch, which continues to operate Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon and 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, and which has also been entirely redesigned in line with the new concept. 

The opening of the new branch, taking the total number of BGL BNP Paribas branches to 41, represents a major investment in the future and in client relations.
