Thanks to this label, the bank is among the 99 companies identified as “socially responsible” at national level, employing 42,000 people in total in Luxembourg.

This official recognition of ING’s CSR corporate culture and its achievements was obtained following an independent audit including 120 questions regarding the four CSR pillars: governance, social, environment and CSR strategy.

During the official ceremony organised by the INDR, that took place at the Chamber of Commerce, Stéphanie Deitz-Moulin, CSR & Diversity Coordinator, reminded that, in order to allow the employees to grow and provide the best service possible, ING consider their well-being as a key element. On that occasion, she took the opportunity to focus on a best practice within the Bank, i.e. its approach to prevent burnout. She also mentioned the training sessions given to managers and the setup of a “vigilance network“ made up of employees explicitly trained to listen to and redirect employees to professionals in order to tackle the problem.
